synopsis:
“nice lines” animation short is based on abstract compositions. Geometry shapes that reveal musical instruments such as strings, organ as well as photo camera and skull with electronic studio in the background. Somewhere in between there is directors art work with letter “M” that leaves interpretation for viewer if he wants to associate it with Music, Motion or make it even more personal. The whole visual style is based on texture drawings by director, that creates easy visual harmony accompanied by music with a light touch of piano with samples from nature created by the composer. At the end of animation diving into the photo box is like metaphor of the edge, between outside and inside worlds. And at the same time contrast. You have to trust the process when developing photo of film. Might be used as an analogy for trusting the process of creating shot animation film. Those are nice harmonic lines between outside and inside worlds.
